A Month of New Beginnings

Here at The View Hotel, January always brings a quiet sense of excitement. The seafront has that crisp, breezy charm, the lobby feels calm and cosy, and the team is full of ideas for a bright and cheerful 2026.

January doesn’t have to be gloomy. In fact, it’s one of the best months to step back, reset and look forward. Whether it’s couples planning their wedding day, friends catching up over coffee, or guests taking a peaceful break by the water, the hotel has that “new chapter” feeling that only the start of a year can bring.

A Year Full of Events

2026 is set to be a vibrant year packed with memorable experiences, combining the return of much-loved favourites with exciting new additions. The year begins with celebrations such as Galentine’s Bottomless Brunch, Valentine’s Dining, Mother’s Day Afternoon Tea, a special Mother’s Day Carvery, a 70s Party, and a Divas Bottomless Brunch.

Spring brings seasonal highlights including an Easter Carvery, themed Bottomless Brunches, an 80s Decade Party, and a Father’s Day Carvery.

As summer arrives, the calendar continues with a lively mix of Bottomless Brunches, a 90s Decade Party, our ever-popular Airbourne events, and a Mamma Mia Bottomless Brunch.

The year concludes with an exciting programme of events, from a Musicals Bottomless Brunch and Back-to-School Party to Bonfire celebrations, including a Carvery Feast with Fireworks and a BBQ Hot Buffet, alongside a Halloween Party, Wreath Making with Festive Cream Tea, and Festive Bottomless Brunches.

The View Hotels 50th Anniversary

And 2026 is extra special - we will be celebrating The View Hotel’s 50th anniversary. Big celebrations are coming, with more details to be shared soon, so keep an eye out for what is sure to be a year to remember.
