Hi, I’m Jasmine and I’m the Meeting & Events Sales Manager at The View Hotel. I am still fairly new to the hotel having started just before Christmas 2019 but I have been in the hospitality industry for over 10 years now! I love the industry and every day brings something different, some days can be a challenge but that’s all part of the fun!

I’ve always lived in Eastbourne and have worked in most the hotels along the seafront at some point. I took a 2 year break from hotels when I decided to move to the agency side of hospitality. This was really good fun and involved lots of travelling to sunny countries to review their hotels as well as lots of day trips to London, Birmingham and Scotland! I’m the oldest of 6 and an auntie to 2 beautiful boys, a baby girl and soon to be again with my sisters summer baby due!

Dream Holiday: Anywhere with constant sunshine, sandy beaches and clear blue seas.. and of course, plenty of cocktails! Although my partner loves exploring so if there was a little town or something historical close by, that wouldn’t be so bad!

Favourite non-alcoholic drink: Robinsons Apple & Kiwi

Favourite alcoholic tipple: A glass of Pinot Grigio or Pink Gin & lemonade

Hi, I’m Tracey Coblenz and i'm a Wedding Executive and Meetings & Events Coordinator, which I absolutely love.  I have been at The View Hotel for over 2 years, however, I have been in the hospitality industry for over 25 years.

I was born and bred in Brighton and I always love being by the sea..maybe I should have been a mermaid?  I started off as a waitress and worked my way up to Food & Beverage Manager before moving to the Events team.   I have been running and organising events (mainly weddings) in Hotels for nearly ½ of my life….I’m honestly not that old!  I’m very down to earth and very approachable and have lots of ideas on how to turn your wedding from a dream to a reality

Dream holiday: Building sandcastles somewhere tropical with my daughter, who’s nearly 4 years old.

Favourite non alcoholic drink: Diet Coke

Favourite alcoholic tipple: Rose wine or an ice cold beer

Favourite food: Anything that I don’t have to cook myself

Hi, I’m Danyal (pronounced Daniel) and I am a Meetings & Events Co-ordinator, which is my ideal job.  I am the newbie in the events team as I’ve been here for nearly 1 year; however, I have been in the hospitality industry for over 4 years. I previously worked as a theatre stage manager working at Glyndebourne and the West End...I just love letting other people be in the spotlight!

I was born and bred in Manchester, however, my accent is very Southern, due to me being ‘down south’ for the last 9 years

I currently live in sunny Eastbourne with my partner who is an amazing Chef (not quite Michelin standard just yet) He’ll even let me cook the roast on Sunday without too much criticism!

Dream holiday: Travelling around New Zealand and Australia in a campervan
